Flat Refurbishment

This extensive renovation involved the lowering of the basement floor followed by the complete tanking of this basement flat. Sitting directly above an underground tributary, installing the most reliable waterproofing system was crucial, as was ensuring we did not disturb the four stories of flats above whilst removing multiple walls to allow for reconfiguration and a small extension to the rear. We also had to ensure that all energy, water, and waste services to the occupants above remained uninterrupted throughout.

Our final challenge was security which was of particular concern to the client who did not want to have bars on the front of this basement flat’s windows, so Dellner Anti-Intruder Glass was fitted leaving the client with a safe, secure, and extremely comfortable Brook Green crash pad.
